Sale of goods

a. Type and scope of data processing

On our website, we offer users the opportunity to purchase goods by providing personal information. The data required for this purpose is entered in an input field and transferred to us and stored by us. There is no transfer of the data to third parties. The following data is collected during the ordering process:

Your data will be forwarded to the shipping company engaged to perform delivery where this is necessary in order to deliver the goods to you. For processing of payments, we pass on your payment data to the bank responsible for payment. These companies may use your data only for purposes of order processing and not for any other purposes.

If you purchase goods on our website and provide your e-mail address there, we may use your e-mail address to send you a newsletter regarding similar goods or services provided by us.

Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing of your personal data (see sec. 4.3 (a)) which is required to perform a contract of sale concluded with us. This also applies to processing operations required to carry out pre-contractual actions.

The legal basis for sending the newsletter following your purchase of goods is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

c. Storage period

Following complete performance of the contract and complete payment of the purchase price, your data will be blocked for further use and erased after expiry of the retention periods under tax law and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to the further use of your data. In individual cases, we may store your data further if required by law.

On our website, you have the option of subscribing to a free newsletter. In order to be in a position to send you our newsletter regularly, we will require the following information from you:

Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, is used on this website. Google Analytics is activated only after consent to the “Statistics” category. If this consent is withdrawn, no further Google Analytics requests are triggered.

2. Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET), Microsoft Clarity, Ahrefs Web Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA

Microsoft Advertising (Bing UET)

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures technical performance and Web Vitals using a beacon. The technical and privacy classification of this service is currently being reviewed.

Google reCAPTCHA

3. Adobe Analytics / Rolex Retailer Tracking

On pages within the Rolex section of our website, we use Adobe Analytics via Adobe Launch (property “Rolex Retailers: Bespoke”). The service is loaded only after consent has been given for Rolex analytics and the rlx-consent consent status is set accordingly. It is not loaded on the general Wagner or Tudor pages covered by our live sample.

The purpose of the processing is to measure and improve the use of the Rolex pages and to evaluate interactions such as page views, finding a store, requesting directions, telephone contact, appointment bookings and completed forms. Depending on the interaction, technical and usage data may be processed, including a pseudonymous Experience Cloud ID (ECID), page and campaign information, time of access, referrer, browser and device information, IP address and interaction or conversion events.

Recipients are Rolex SA, 3-5-7 rue François-Dussaud, 1211 Geneva 26, Switzerland, and Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Ireland, as the technology provider. Tracking requests are transmitted through the Rolex domains metrics.rolex.com and smetrics.rolex.com. Processing in Switzerland is covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision. Where Adobe processes data outside the EEA, the provider states that appropriate safeguards are used.

The following Adobe Analytics cookies may be used: AMCVS_*@AdobeOrg (session), AMCV_*@AdobeOrg (up to 13 months), s_ecid (up to 13 months), s_cc (session) and s_sq (session). Depending on the browser and technical fallback, s_vi or s_fid may be stored for up to two years.

The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021 (TKG 2021). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings with effect for the future. 4. Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)

We use the “Meta Pixel” from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Meta”) on our website for conversion measurement and analysis.

Purpose of Processing: The Meta Pixel allows us to track the behavior of page visitors after they have been redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook or Instagram advertisement. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Meta advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising measures.

Data Transfer: The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Meta can use the data for its own advertising purposes. It is possible that Meta transmits this data to servers in the USA (Meta Platforms Inc.).

Sec. 7 Plugins

1. Vimeo

Our website uses plugins from Vimeo.com, which is operated by Vimeo LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, USA. If you access the pages of our website by using a plugin of this kind, this will connect to Vimeo’s servers and the plugin will be displayed on the website via a message to your browser. This will transmit information to the Vimeo server regarding which of our website pages you have visited. If you are logged-in as a member of Vimeo, Vimeo will match this information with your personal user accounts on these platforms. On several of our website pages, we use plugins from YouTube. We only collect personal data that is necessary for the provision and processing of our services.
