His honorary membership and the award of the Vienna State Opera’s Ring of Distinction seamlessly add to his remarkable legacy.

In his laudation, State Opera Director Bogdan Roščić celebrated Bertrand de Billy’s exceptional contributions. Under resounding applause, Christian Kircher, CEO of the Bundestheater Holding, presented the honorary membership of the Vienna State Opera to the artist. Together with Katharina and Hermann Gmeiner-Wagner, he also awarded the coveted Ring of Distinction.
